Fundraising & Volunteering
Here at Devereux House we rely solely on charitable donations & a grant from the council.
We hold many fundraising events to raise vital funds to buy Furniture, New medical equipment or to Re-decorate.

We have held Coffee Mornings, Garden Parties, Fetes, Afternoon Tea & many more. More recently we had a member of staff run the Farnborough Half Marathon to raise money to buy a new Defibrillator for the Day Care Centre. This is a vital piece of kit and were extremely grateful to all those who sponsored.

If you would like to volunteer at Devereux House, either in the Day Care Centre or Residential home we would be highly appreciative.
We do have some volunteers that come in and serve Tea, Coffee & Biscuits, assisting with lunch and they also enjoy chatting and joining in various games with our members in the Day Care Centre.
We would ask you to arrive around 10am usually finishing around 1pm. So for 3 hours per week or month you can make a difference to the lives of our elderly and in some cases vulnerable members. A free lunch is available on request.
