Devereux House " The home from home"

Residential Home

Devereux House provides residential living for the elderly. Residential care is often chosen by older people & their families when living at home may be lonely or the chores of daily living maybe becoming too difficult to manage.

Our approach to providing residential care is to improve the quality of life for our residents by creating lovely, comfortable, homely surroundings, activities and other services around each and every residents needs.

The residential care team are committed to providing the best individual care, in a warm, friendly, professional & homely environment. In addition to residential care we do offer respite care, we have two respite rooms.

Here at Devereux House we have 16 bedrooms all en-suite, two of which can accommodate couples if required. Visitors and guests are welcome at all times and are free to come & go as they please.

Residents are welcome & encouraged to use the Day Care Centre on the ground floor as well as the gardens, Devereux House is fully wheelchair accessible & several current residents as well as Day Care Centre members are wheelchair users.

The Criteria for admission to the residential home are for people who need care because of old age, and people over 65 with a physical disability. To help decide if you or a family member might be suitable for Devereux House we are always willing discuss further and help if possible. Although we do take a limited number of people in the Day Care Centre with early onset dementia, we are unable to accept those suffering from dementia into the Residential home due to the design of the building.
