"I chatted with Evelyn on Tuesday and she kindly oversaw Mum's trial visit yesterday. It went very smoothly and I would like to extend a big thank you to Evelyn and the team for all they did to help both Mum (and I) get through the day. Mum had no recollection of her visit minutes after leaving but the fact she seemed relaxed all day, stimulated by the goings on whilst there and eating well were all huge positives for us. Dad having 5 hours to himself was they key other benefit.

Please find enclosed a cash donation in memory of our late mother Betty. Mum sadly passed away July 18 after a short illness. She much loved her time at Devereux House, especially the craft sessions. She made many friends too. You were all so kind and caring with Mum and we hope you can put this money towards a project or a simple treat for all the staff and clients. Mum did love a tea party! Many Thanks again for taking great care with Betty our Lovely Mum.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation to you and the care team for all your efforts yesterday for mum and dad. Dad just could not get over how good it was and said it was "like a dream". He very much benefited from being able to be in the craft room and not having to keep making sure that mum was okay. He was amazed that mum was even
joining in with what was going on. I do know that it is incredibly difficult to please everyone when there are individuals with so many differing needs but my goodness you most certainly pleased dad yesterday.
